Neha Sethi

A corporate lawyer and social activist, Ms. Neha Sethi founded BASTA with a vision to bring the light of education into the lives of millions of children in India. Her mission is inspired by personal hardships in the way of her education, and she is determined to help children gain unrestricted access to quality education. After witnessing children being sent for child labor despite free education in government schools, Ms. Sethi made the decision to establish BASTA to help them afford educational supplies and spread awareness among their parents. Over the years, the foundation came across cases of child abuse and even trafficking and Ms. Sethi has empathetically helped the victims get help from the authorities.

Rachin Choudhary

Mr. Rachin Chaudhary is well known in the business sector as an entrepreneur and visionary. However, besides being a successful businessman, he also wishes to give back and improve the world around him. As a man with high educational qualifications, Mr. Chaudhary believes in the value of education and the difference it can make in a child’s life. After having witnessed the lives of children who are sent to work as laborers despite free education schemes by the government, he has dedicated his efforts towards sharing resources and awareness with their parents and communities. As a founding member of BASTA, he brings forward almost 14 years’ worth of business experience and financial literacy to help shape the future of the foundation and uplift the lives of these children via the means of education.

Arun Baisla

Mr. Arun Baisla is an entrepreneur in the eCommerce  industry  who also possesses over  a decade of experience in managing NGOs.                He joined the organization with a strong belief in assisting children in attaining a brighter future through education. As a board member, he brings forward invaluable experience in management that is used to take BASTA Foundation to new heights where it can help more children than before. Thanks to Mr. Baisla, the foundation has had tremendous success in helping children in remote corners of the nation. We can now reach places where there’s almost no one to help and support the children undergoing such abuse.

Rahul Chaudhary

Mr. Rahul Choudhary has 11 years of professional experience in community development and aid organizations. As such, he is exceptionally well suited for managing the BASTA and uplifting the lives of underprivileged children. His knowledge and experience in community development have become a great asset to the foundation as it has allowed us to effectively cooperate with government authorities regarding severe cases. Mr. Choudhary has become an icon for the organization, and his enthusiasm for helping the children shines through his every act.

Rahul Yadav

Mr.Rahul Yadav
In his role as a German instructor and translator, Mr. Rahul Yadav has earned a reputation as a savvy educator who leads by example from his peers. He has learned a lot about working with children through his time with his pupils. As a board member, he is invaluable for the innovative ideas and insights he provides to aid in children’s rehabilitation and academic growth. In addition, he can approach children who have experienced trauma in a measured and cautious manner. Having him on the team has allowed us to successfully soothe and care for more children in crisis.

Mr. Mukesh Advani

‘Mr. Mukesh Advani’ is a social & political activist. He did his M. A. in Hindi Literature & Language from University of Mumbai. He is a creative writer, poet, lyricist & FM Radio personality. He participated in many programs of Akashvani (AIR) using his writing skills & voice. He has been a prominent Radio Jockey (RJ) of Mumbai’s first FM Rainbow 107.1 & FM Gold 100.7. He wrote the title song of serial “Shoorveer Maharana Pratap” which was telecasted on DD1. The title song was sung by playback singer Vinod Rathod and Late Shri Vinod Khanna (Former Member Of Parliament) played the role of Maharana Pratap. Along with his creative activities, Mukesh Advani considers it his duty to serve the society & the nation selflessly so he is honorary working with the Basta Foundation.
