Campaign: Basta sponsored the education of 169 children at Amarpali public School Vasundhara.

Spreading awareness in different areas of Delhi was just starters for us and we went on to associate ourselves with Aamrapali Public School, Vasundhara Ghaziabad. At first it seemed quite a task but we gathered the courage to go all the way through. It was great collaborating with the school administration and their proactive attitude gave our team a significant motivation to keep up with our mission – ‘School Bag (Basta) on every young shoulder’.

The first thing we did was to sit the school’s registrar to identify children from low socio-economic backgrounds and how they have been performing in the class. Next, we mapped out our resources and the probable donors to estimate the scale of the entire campaign. On finalising the list, we had a total of 169 children whose entire education was set to be sponsored by our team and our generous donors.

After that, we invited the parents of these children and briefed them about our initiative and assured them that their children were our responsibility from now on. Many of them burst into tears and expressed immense gratitude to our team. These are the moments we work for and will always strive to bring more and more happiness into this world. Now these children are studying well in the school and their performance is also on the ascending track.

The aim behind this program was to build a community of children who can focus solely on their education without feeling any financial burden on themselves.
